Apple has reduced the prices of several older iPhone models by up to ₹10,000. In addition to this, the company has discontinued some models to boost the sales of its newly launched iPhone 16 series.
Every time Apple releases a new iPhone lineup, it tends to lower the prices of its previous models. Following the launch of the iPhone 16 series during the ‘It’s Glotime’ event on September 9, Apple has slashed the prices of its older phones by as much as ₹10,000 and discontinued some models to make room for the latest offerings.
Price Drop on iPhone 15 and iPhone 14
The iPhone 15, launched last year, and the iPhone 14 from 2022, are now ₹10,000 cheaper at the Apple Store online. The base model (128GB) of the iPhone 15 is now available for ₹69,900, down from its launch price of ₹79,900. The 256GB variant is priced at ₹79,900, reduced from ₹89,900, and the 512GB version is now ₹99,900, previously priced at ₹1,09,900.
Similarly, the price of the iPhone 14 has dropped in India. The 128GB model is now available for ₹59,900, down from ₹69,900. The 256GB and 512GB versions are now priced at ₹69,900 and ₹89,900, respectively. When it was first launched in 2022, the starting price of the iPhone 14 was ₹79,900, but Apple reduced the price after the release of the iPhone 15 lineup last year.
Several Models Discontinued
The iPhone 15 is available in Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow colors, while the iPhone 14 can be purchased in Blue, Midnight Black, Purple, Red, Starlight White, and Yellow. The iPhone 16 series starts at ₹79,900, with the larger iPhone 16 Plus starting at ₹89,900. Apple has discontinued the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in India. Additionally, the brand is no longer selling the iPhone 13 and Watch Series 9.
