IND vs NZ Rachin Ravindras Preparation Intensifies Ahead of Test Series in India Proceedings

The New Zealand top all-rounder who shone immensely during ICC ODI World Cup 2023 competition Rachin has been holding training camps in India.

As regards IND vs NZ Test Series, Rachin Ravindra is currently training at the CSK Academy:

Rachin is the star all-rounder from New Zealand who is eyeing for the IND vs NZ Test series. He made the first appearance in Test matches against India back in 2021, which marked his rising profile within the Black Caps. That was followed by a series of outstanding performances that really helped to strengthen the squad last year.

While competing in 2023 ODI World Cup, he hit up to 578 runs and was among nominees selected for ICC Emerging Player of the Year. A few days ago he also had his first hundred runs while testing batting talent during game played with South African players’ team at Mount Maunganui. For several months, now he is getting ready for six-match Test series across South Asia playing on slow turning tracks.

The New Zealand schedule includes one Test match against Afghanistan two Tests in Sri Lanka and three Tests matches within India itself. Currently adapting to pitch conditions with Ben Spears on a workout regime, Ravindra is working out at Chennai Super Kings High Performance Centre.

While commenting about training sessions conducted from chennai where he has been preparing himself physically Rachin said “Its had been great few days like this down here in chennai”. Here in Chennai, we’ve prepared ourselves for red and black soil pitches.
