In the seventh match of CPL 2024, Shimron Hetmyer delivered a blistering performance that led Guyana Amazon Warriors to a 40-run win over St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Hetmyer not only scored a match-winning 91, but also set a unique record in T20 cricket. He became the first batsman to hit the most sixes in a T20 innings without a single boundary.
Hetmyer smashed 11 sixes in his 91-run innings off 39 balls, setting a new benchmark in T20 cricket.
