Upon his arrival in India after winning the bronze in Paris, Swapnil received a grand welcome. News agency ANI shared a video from Pune Airport where he was greeted with drums and celebrations.

Swapnil Kusale’s journey in the men’s 50-meter rifle 3 positions event at the Paris 2024 Olympics started modestly. He scored 153.3 (first shot: 50.8, second shot: 50.9, third shot: 51.6) in the kneeling position, placing him sixth. He made a remarkable comeback in the prone position, scoring 156.8 (first shot: 52.7, second shot: 52.2, third shot: 51.9).
From here, Swapnil regained his footing in the match. In the standing position, he elevated his score to 422.1, which eventually secured him the bronze medal.
